On May 22, the LIFE Montado-Adapt project was visited by the EASME (Executive Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises), LIFE program’s coordenating entity, and a monitor from NEEMO – a consortium of companies responsible for monitoring the implementation of LIFE programs throughout Europe.
The visit took place at two Portuguese pilot areas of the project LIFE Montado-Adapt: Freixo-do-Meio Farm, in the morning, and Ribeira Abaixo Farm, in the afternoon. In both, it was possible to observe the techniques implemented and their impact in terms of adaptation to climate change, to discuss the difficulties and challenges in the field, and to outline the next actions to be implemented in the project, such as certification, sales support, marketing, among others.
