We were delighted to learn that María Pía Sánchez Fernández - head of the LIFE Montado-Adapt pilot area “La Rinconcona” had been awarded the "Fight against climate change" prize, in the context of the Premios Sostenibles por Naturaleza, an event promoted by the agricultural organisation UPA (Unión de Pequeños Agricultores y Ganaderos) and the company Syngenta.

This award recognises meritorious work in favour of the environment and the adaptation of cork/holm oak forests to climate change, work that included some activities included in our project.
